The Well Traveled Stamp Part 2

The postage stamp has played a huge part in my collage work over the years. I love the muted colors

found in these older stamps, once well traveled and canceled. Often I will find just the envelope or postcard minus a stamp with purely just cancellation and postage markings. A wonderful addition to

my collage this begins to create a story on its very own. I tend to avoid anything past the late 1960's as

the printing gets slicker and the colors brighter.
