The Layered Image Part 2

I have spent many years and countless hour creating both traditional and

Digital Collage. The beauty of these images I feel, is the layering of and

almost accidental positioning. Design by accident. I am constantly transitioning

imagery and taking it into a completely different context. With traditional collage

there is more of a delicacy and planning, sort of putting the puzzle pieces together

in some form that will work. Not always is there particularly a story or meaning

quite often too this is by accident. I like to build collages around one key element,

perhaps it is an old photo of a family member from the 1920s. A story may develope

on its own.
